Our local guide will provide an overview of Turin and its role in the development of the Italian identity and how food and wine have been thriving in this territory due to 800 years rules Savoyard state. As you were a bohemien, you will start the experience in an historical cafè.

First, you will try the Bicerin, the traditional chocolate drink whose recipe was and still is consumed in these '800 century cafès.

You will then move on to a cozy place and you will have a lesson about chocolate, with insights offered by the guide, and sample a selection of bean to bar fine chocolates and then traditional chocolates like Gianduiotto and Cremino. Gianduiotto name comes from Gianduja: made by blending finely ground hazelnuts with chocolate to create a smooth and indulgent treat. Gianduja has a fascinating history, originating in Turin and dating back to the 19th century when cocoa was scarce and expensive. The chocolate tastings will be 100% organic and “bean to bar” products.

Then you will move on to a wine tasting: Turin and Piedmont are famous for its wines, from vineyards in the slopes of Alps. Your guide will lead you to a wine tastings of 2 iconic white and red wines, paired with an organic cured meat and cheese platter. Providing a relaxed course on drinking like a pro sommelier and understand scents behind each wine.
