At Slow Travel Italia, we don't believe in rushing from one tourist attraction to the next with a tiny flag in hand. We create food experiences, wine tastings, and unforgettable moments that introduce travelers to the Italy we know and love.
Some days you'll be talking about bold red wines with curious guests. Other days you'll be helping someone discover the best Parmesan they've ever tasted. Occasionally, you'll find yourself explaining why Italians take aperitivo very seriously.

What It's Like Working With Us
We're a small, close-knit team that believes the best experiences happen around a table, in a hidden trattoria, or during conversations that weren't part of the original itinerary.
This isn't a desk job where you'll spend your days counting down to Friday.
Instead, you might be:
- Leading guests through local neighborhoods and sharing the stories behind the places you love.
- Introducing visitors to family-run wineries and pretending you don't have a favourite wine (we all do).
- Discovering unusual experiences that make people say, "This was the highlight of our trip."
- Creating content that inspires others to slow down and experience Italy differently.
- Being "off duty" and somehow ending up recommending restaurants to complete strangers anyway.
Who We're Looking For
You don't have to know everything about Italy.
But you should:
- Be passionate about food, wine, travel, and human connection.
- Speak fluent English and Italian.
- Enjoy being around people (yes, even before your morning coffee).
- Have experience in hospitality, tourism, or customer-facing roles.
- Be outgoing, adaptable, and comfortable taking the lead.
- Love sharing local traditions, hidden gems, and personal recommendations.
- Believe that travel is about experiences, not checklists.
Bonus points if you've ever planned an entire day around lunch.
